  • South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age
  • Currently unemployed, except where SASSETA and Services SETA bursaries fund employed students
  • Some SETA bursaries require at least 50% average in the prior academic year of study
  • Registered for a qualification supported by the relevant SETA
  • Students who are not invited may apply directly with SETA because Unisa does not administer those applications
