Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, Quantitative Management and Statistics.
Coverage value
Registration fees, tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation and meal allowance, plus work readiness and onboarding support.
Service contract
After graduation, recipients must work for Capitec for a period equal to the duration of funding received.
Renewal
Awarded for one year and renewable annually based on academic performance, student engagement and sponsor budgets.

Eligibility

  • South African citizen
  • Currently in Matric or has completed Matric
  • Studying or intending to study full-time towards an eligible NQF level 7 or higher Bachelor or Honours qualification
  • Entering 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of study in 2027
  • Registered at a DHET or CHE registered tertiary institution
  • Bachelor pass with a minimum average of 65% in Matric
  • Current tertiary students need at least 65% average for the latest full academic years
  • Strong academic record and commitment to studies
  • Passion for technology, data and business

  • Certified copy of ID document
  • Grade 11 final report and latest Grade 12 report with school stamp, if currently in Matric
  • Certified copy of Matric certificate, if completed Matric
  • Latest official academic transcripts, if currently studying
  • Official university fee statement
  • Lease agreement, if living in off-campus accommodation
  • Full tertiary academic record for all years of study
  • Parents or guardians ID documents, passport or death certificate
  • Parents or guardians proof of household income
  • Funding confirmation or affidavit for NSFAS and other bursary funding
  • Guardian consent form, if under 18
  • Employment Equity Act EEA1 form and diagnosis letter, if disabled
