Selection context: Priority is given to in-service health care workers currently working in vaccination or planning to work in vaccination. Applicants are required to write a motivation explaining why they should be accepted.
Curriculum context: The prospectus describes two blocks and 11 modules covering infectious disease immunology, vaccinology, vaccine manufacturing and distribution, EPI-SA, epidemiology, vaccination schedules, cold chain, safe vaccine administration, adverse events, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation.
Practical context: Modules 6 to 11 include practical assignments based on vaccination practice. Students who can produce evidence of competence may submit it for possible exemption from those practical assignments, while the virtual communication component remains mandatory.
