South African citizen
Unemployed and not older than 26 years
Currently in Matric or has completed Matric
Studying or intending to study full-time towards a first undergraduate qualification in an eligible field
Postgraduate funding limited to Law, Accounting CA, Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics
Studying or intending to study at a recognised public University or University of Technology in South Africa
Matric students need the listed IDC academic threshold; tertiary students need the listed tertiary threshold
Combined household income not more than R350 000 per year, with missing-middle applicants also considered
Preference for students with disabilities and students from Quintile 1 to 3 or rural schools
