Eligible Masters fields in business, economics, climate, environment, development, human rights, education, engineering, food science, health, ICT, law, social sciences, tourism, gender studies and related areas.
Coverage value
Student visitor visa fee, university application fees, tuition and examination fees, economy travel, settling-in allowance, accommodation, book allowance, study allowance and monthly living stipend.

Eligibility

  • South African citizen residing in South Africa
  • Completed a Bachelor degree in 2015 or later with strong academic record
  • Completed Honours degree from an accredited institution with at least 75% average
  • Not completed or pursuing a Masters degree or higher
  • Applying for a new Masters degree in Ireland starting August or September 2027
  • Leadership abilities and commitment to Sustainable Development Goals
  • At least two years relevant work experience, including internships or volunteering
  • Chosen three eligible programmes and meets academic and English requirements

Academic requirements

Overall average 75% average

Applicants need a minimum average of 75% for their Honours degree.
