  • From a previously disadvantaged background or rural community
  • Currently in Matric or has completed Matric
  • Studying or intending to study full-time in one of the listed fields
  • Studying or intending to study at a recognised and accredited South African university
  • Meets the Matric subject levels for the selected DLRRD study route
  • Not a staff member of the department

Academic requirements

BSc applicants need level 5 for Mathematics.

BSc applicants need level 5 for Physical Science or Geography.
