South African citizen
Currently in Matric or has completed Matric
Studying or intending to study towards a first undergraduate or Honours degree or diploma in 2027 focused on STEM and green economy skills
Studying or accepted to study full-time at a recognised and accredited public university or university of technology in South Africa
Strong academic record
Passed Mathematics in Matric, not Mathematical Literacy
Minimum overall average of 65% for the 2026 academic year
Minimum overall average of 65% for subjects aligned to the university qualification
Proven financial need
Parent or legal guardian consent, if under 18
