Coverage value
Tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, prescribed study materials, support programmes, accommodation and meals or transport costs.
Service contract
Recipients may be required to attend workshops, events, experiential training and outreach programmes, and after graduation must enter employment with the Department of Infrastructure and a professional development training programme.

Eligibility

  • South African citizen
  • Currently in Matric or has completed Matric
  • Studying or intending to study full-time towards a degree or diploma in one of the listed fields in 2027
  • Studying or accepted at UCT, Stellenbosch University or CPUT
  • Preference for financially disadvantaged students, female students, students with disabilities and students from the Western Cape outside the Cape Metro
