Eligibility

  • South African citizen by birth or descent
  • Completed Matric
  • Studying full-time towards an Actuarial Science degree
  • Entering 2nd year or higher in 2027
  • Studying at a recognised and accredited South African university
  • High academic results for first year tertiary study
  • Minimum 65% for actuarial and mathematical modules
  • Minimum overall average of 60%
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience or exposure to actuarial modelling, financial analysis or quantitative research methodologies

Academic requirements

Overall average 60% average

Liberty requires at least 60% overall and 65% for actuarial and mathematical modules.
