Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Environmental and Water Sciences, Geohydrology, Hydrology, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying and selected Honours fields.
Coverage value
Registration fees, tuition fees, book allowance, stationery allowance, accommodation, food and monthly stipend.
Service contract
On completion, recipients must join the Water Learning Academy for up to 3 years.

Eligibility

  • South African citizen
  • Completed Matric or currently in Matric
  • Intending to study full-time towards one of the listed qualifications
  • Entering first year of undergraduate or Honours study in 2027
  • Intending to study at one of the listed public institutions in South Africa
  • Strong academic record
  • Financial need
  • Not receiving other funding, including NSFAS, bursary, scholarship or another award
  • Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
  • Preference for previously disadvantaged students from poor and rural communities

Grade 11 marks Academic

Grade 11 final marks may support current Matric applications.

Family IDs

Certified ID copies for parents, legal guardian, or spouse, if financial need applies.

Proof of income

Payslips, employment letters, or retrenchment letters for parents or guardians. Not needed for SASSA grant recipients.

Special case documents

Disability Annexure A or Vulnerable Child Declaration, if applicable.
