Eligibility

  • South African citizen
  • Previously disadvantaged individual
  • Currently in Matric or has completed Matric
  • Studying or intending to study towards an eligible undergraduate qualification in 2027
  • Studying or accepted to study at a recognised and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Current Matric students meet the listed Mathematics and Physical Science thresholds
  • Current university students have consistently achieved at least 65% overall
  • Household income between R350 000 and R500 000 per year, or NSFAS application conditions are met
  • Preference for students with disabilities

  • Clear head and shoulders photograph
  • Certified copy of South African ID document
  • Grade 11 final results and Matric June results, if currently in Matric
  • Matric certificate, if completed Matric
  • Full academic record and latest available results
  • Proof of parents or guardians household income
  • Parents death certificates or child support documents, if applicable
  • Proof of disability, if applicable
